I am originally from Southeast Texas where I lived for 21 years. I relocated to Missouri and stayed there for approximately 5 years but I am currently in the process of relocating to another state.
Before I moved to Missouri in 2002, I held a position as a Graphic Designer in Houston Texas. I graduated from the Art Institute of Houston in December of 2001. While attending the Art Institute, I majored in Multimedia and Web Design. I have had my own website for approximately 9 years. So, even before I attended the Art Institute, I had experience in Web/Graphic Design. I do not have a job in my career field but I am freelancing as much as possible to maintain my skills. I am always taking photos though, as it is my main interest. My favorite things to photograph are my animals, butterflies, flowers, landscapes, and other types of scenery. I have two bunnies, Doodles and Sprinkles. I also have two pugs named Private Pickles and Peaches.
During my free time, I enjoy being on my computer. I like journaling, chatting, making graphics, designing web sites, and just surfing on the web for random things.
I love all kinds of music. Some of my favorite bands are Tool, A Perfect Circle, Assemblage 23, Norah Jones, Vanessa Carlton, Depeche Mode, Mates of State, The Capsules, The Postal Service, Björk, Mazzy Star, Stabbing Westward, Filter, Deftones, Nine Inch Nails etc.
I love to travel and see new places. Some of the other places I want to visit are: Alaska, Oregon/Washington area, Colorado, West Virgina/Virgina, North Carolina, Wyoming, Lake Louise in Canada, New Zealand -- anywhere that is especially scenic as I love photography!
